Daycare description / philosophy
Operated by the Duncan Daycare Society (Duncan's oldest not for profit child care centre). A proven history of nurturing young children and their families since 1974.Open year round, Monday to Friday 7:30 - 5:30 PM. Big bright building nestled in a healthy urban forest. Convenient downtown location (behind the courthouse). Nutritious morning and afternoon snacks provided. Fun age-appropriate playground. Cooking and gardening, culturally sensitive, field trips. Children of all developmental levels welcome.
New Reggio Emilia inspired preschool program, Monday, Wednesday and Fridays 9 - Noon. Growing fruits and vegetables in Living Gardens, music, art and drama is our focus.
